Dear Friends of Mary's Place by the Sea, 

It is with grateful hearts that we say thank you to all who supported our 10 Year Anniversary Celebration. We had a wonderful evening celebrating this special milestone with so many of our steadfast supporters. To all those who attended, sponsored, advertised in our program book, or donated a gift to our silent auction, we are grateful to you for sharing in this special milestone event with us. To those who sent us love and warm thoughts from afar, know that we missed you and we hope to see you soon!  To our event co-chairs, Tease Gould and Maggie Simon, and their fantastic committee, thank you for making this such an amazing evening to remember! We enjoyed celebrating with over 250 attendees, and together we raised over $162,000 to keep our services free for our guests.

By the end of this year, we will reach 10,000 guests served since our founding in 2009. This would not be possible without the unending love and support of our Mary’s Place Community. 

As our guest, Rosie Gialanella said so eloquently at the Celebration: 

“Mary’s Place has given me a community of love, support and sisterhood. It’s my home away from home. I found a great support group. I have a wonderful prayer circle. I have the most brilliant counselor in the world; I will be honest and say that if I didn’t have her right now, I wouldn’t be able to move forward with this challenging and devastating disease. I found freedom. I found acceptance. I love the nutritious meals. I found healing in all of the holistic services from all of the amazing and generous volunteers.
 I found hope.” 

On behalf of the women we serve, like Rosie, and all those who have yet to visit Mary’s Place by the Sea, thank you ALL for your part in keeping our services free for our guests. Because of you, we can lighten their burdens, strengthen their faith, and fill their hearts with love.
