Dear Friend of Mary’s Place by the Sea,
This holiday season, we are reflecting on the countless blessings we have received this year. In the past 12 months, we have welcomed nearly 1,000 guests into our home.
We are honored to meet so many courageous women through our mission. During the frenzy of the holiday season, we know that our guests have unending “to-do” lists just as we do; on top of the holiday gatherings, grocery shopping, gift buying, and paying the bills, they must cope and come to terms with a life-threatening illness.
To all of our guests, we wish you a holiday season filled with joy and peace. We encourage you to take the moments that you need to enjoy quiet time and rest when you can. We look forward to seeing you again in the New Year for a moment of pause at Mary’s Place.
To all those who have lost a loved one this year, we send you a warm embrace. We pray that you will find comfort in joyful memories throughout the season.
At the start of the new year, our mission will turn 10 years old. We are amazed that 9,000 women have come through our doors since our founding. The dream we had ten years ago has become a reality thanks to the support of countless volunteers, our Board of Trustees, our donors and fund-raisers. We continue to be blessed and inspired by your faith, hope, and love.
Together, we have created the perfect healing place for our guests on their cancer journey. THANK YOU for your part in our mission; we are so grateful.
We send you our love and prayers, today and always!
Merry Christmas!
