Our House Manager Susan Barrett and Program Manager Elizabeth Bryndza are ready to welcome our first in-person guests of 2022!
Dear Mary's Place by the Sea Community,
The start of the year at Mary's Place by the Sea was different than we had imagined. With the surge in Covid cases throughout our area at the beginning of January, we knew it was best to keep our home closed to in-person guests until it was safe for our guests to return. During that time, we encouraged all of our guests to participate in our Virtual Services program,
and over 1,200 participants took part in integrative services for their mind, body and soul from the comfort and safety of their own homes. As one guest said "I felt welcomed by the moderators and attendees. The sisterhood was real". Two years ago, we never would have imagined that we would be serving up sisterhood to our guests in
their own homes. That has been the beautiful silver lining of the pandemic for our guests. As our world continues to face uncertainty, Mary's Place continues to offer a soft place for our guests to land. We are thrilled to be able to open our doors to in-person guests once again TODAY, March 11th. If you
know of a woman with cancer who could benefit from our services, in-person or virtually, please reach out to us. Please also check out our upcoming events as a way to support our guests in a time when they need it most.
With love,
Michele Gannon
