Newman's Own Foundation Holiday Challenge

We LOVE a good challenge! And we’ve got a new one for you! Mary’s Place by the Sea is excited to announce its participation in the Newman’s Own Foundation $500,000 Holiday Challenge! The HOLIDAY CHALLENGE is an online fundraising competition where non-profit organizations compete to raise the most money in donations, with the top teams winning grand prize cash donations from the Newman’s Own Foundation. Participating organizations keep all funds raised during this campaign.
This Challenge runs from November 21st through January 3rd. Each week, we will announce new bonus challenges - help us by donating and spreading the word! For example: Donate on Giving Tuesday (November 28th) to help us win a $50,000 Bonus Prize! Host a Fundraiser: host a “jeans day” at your company, a donation-based workout at your gym, or donate a portion of proceeds from a particular good or service in your place of business. Mary’s Place by the Sea will be promoting this challenge with the hashtag #MPrecipeforlove on social media.
As Newman's Own Foundation has developed its own recipe for giving, we at Mary's Place have developed our own Recipe for Love, in the way that we serve our guests. Each of you has your own Recipe for Love. Maybe your Recipe for Love is a homemade dinner with your family; perhaps it is a yoga class strengthening and stretching your body; maybe it is a 10-minute meditation at the beginning of the day. During this Challenge, share your recipe with us social media, using the hashtag #MPrecipeforlove, and tell us why you are supporting the Holiday Challenge!
