When the doors to Mary’s Place by the Sea opened, the vision was to create a PLACE where a woman could pause, breathe, and remember that she is more than her diagnosis.

Over the past 17 years, that simple vision has grown into something far greater than could have ever been imagined.

Mary’s Place by the Sea is a place where hope begins.

Hope can begin in the quiet of a morning overlooking the ocean. It can begin around the table, sharing a meal and a conversation. It can begin with a massage, a Reiki session, a counseling conversation, or simply being invited to rest. In these moments, women discover something deeply important: they are not alone.

More than 17,000 women have walked through our doors, each bringing her own story, her own fears, and her own hopes. Together, their stories have shaped the heart of Mary’s Place by the Sea and the place it has become today.

But the need continues to grow.

As we look toward the future and bring the Mary’s Place experience into new communities, we have an extraordinary opportunity to reach even more women and create more places where hope can begin.
