Lisa Shimrock
Senior Fund Development Manager
Lisa Shimrock is the Senior Fund Development Manager at Mary’s Place by the Sea, having joined the team in the fall of 2024. She brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, including ten years with another local nonprofit organization. Lisa is passionate about creating meaningful connections and building strong partnerships that help sustain the mission of Mary’s Place.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, where she was recognized as the university’s first-ever Philanthropic Student of the Year.
In her role, Lisa oversees fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and development initiatives to support women with cancer as they heal: mind, body, and soul. Her thoughtful approach and dedication help further the impact of Mary’s Place by the Sea.
