Celebrating an Incredible Day at the 5th Annual Swing for the Soul Golf Outing

Posted on Posted on

On Monday, June 30th, we gathered with friends, supporters, and golf enthusiasts for our 5th Annual Swing for the Soul Golf Outing at the beautiful Deal Golf and Country Club — and what a day it was!

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s event was sold out and raised over $125,000 in support of our mission at Mary’s Place by the Sea — a 78% increase from last year’s outing. We are blown away by the generosity, energy, and enthusiasm of everyone who made this day such a tremendous success.

A Day Full of Fun and Purpose

Our golfers enjoyed a full day of friendly competition, delicious food, and heartfelt moments. Contests during the day included:

  • Longest Drive
  • Closest to the Pin
  • Two Pots of Gold
  • Putting Contest
  • And a special shoutout to Larson Ford, who generously offered a car for a hole-in-one—although no one drove away with the grand prize this year!

We also introduced a new contest this year — the “Hit It & Win It” Putting Challenge — and it was a huge hit with our players!

Between rounds, guests enjoyed lunch and dinner, participated in a lively silent auction, and most importantly, had the opportunity to hear from former guest Tricia Berwick, who courageously shared her personal story and the impact Mary’s Place by the Sea has had on her healing journey.

Thank You to Our Sponsors

We are deeply grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, the Chris Tubby and Deborah Wilson Giving Fund, for their extraordinary support. We’d also like to thank our additional sponsors who made this event possible:
