Sharing Stories, Spreading Hope: Mary’s Place by the Sea in the Spotlight
Posted on Posted on

Dear Friends of Mary’s Place by the Sea,
I begin this with deep appreciation for the new found members of our community. In early February, Mary’s Place by the Sea was featured in a story published by NJ.com that offered a beautiful overview of our mission and highlighted the stories of two of our incredible guests. When the story was shared on Instagram, it reached thousands of people across New Jersey and beyond. The response was immediate and far-reaching, and while that reach matters, what matters more is what comes next, our commitment to creating a meaningful connection with every person who reaches out to us after seeing the story.
Since the post was shared, we have received over 200 guest inquiries, welcomed 900+ new followers across our social media platforms, and have seen countless volunteer and practitioner interest forms. With this growth, our team is committed to ensuring that every single connection made through this story is a meaningful one, not transactional, not rushed and never lost in volume. Each woman who reaches out to us will be met with the same individualized care, the same intentional welcome and the same deeply personalized experience that has always defined our mission. For our new volunteers and practitioners, this means thoughtfully matching their skills where they are most impactful whether that be in our home, at events or through holistic service offerings.
These moments of visibility do more than share our story; they build the relationships that sustain our work and allow Mary’s Place by the Sea to continue being a place of healing for all who walk through our doors. As we continue to grow, we will do so thoughtfully, making sure every connection aligns with our mission and amplifies our impact.
Thank you to all who have been with us on this journey, and to all who have just joined us, welcome! We look forward to growing together.
With love and gratitude,
Eleanor Schoenberger
